AcademiCon 3 Student Registration

ST and Phoenix students should have received a "Welcome to AcademiCon 3" email on September 21, inviting them to review the guest speakers and their presentations and select their preferred schedule.  Sessions will fill up and students will be required to pick one presentation for each of the sessions they are on campus. (ie. SVCTE and Phoenix students only need to select presentations for Sessions 1, 2, and 3.)

If students did not receive the email, they can click on this link to the Sched for AcademiCon 3: The Return of the Speakers

For AcademiCon 3, we use Sched as our convention scheduling tool.  Students are already listed as attendees, using their ARMS account email addresses and their Student ID numbers.  If students prefer to use a different email address, they can change their email address after they log in.

AcademiCon 3: The Return of the Speakers Schedule

AcademiCon 3: The Return of the Speakers (September 28, 2016)

After a two year hiatus, AcademiCon is returning on September 28, 2016, ready to inspire, educate, and enlighten our students through the experiences of our guest speakers who will share their profession, their life lessons, their experiences, and their advice for the future. We will continue to have a military fair, a college fair, and an Academic Rally.

The first AcademiCon was on January 28, 2013 with the objective of "creating a unique school day to expose students to academically relevant experiences related to their future."  The day featured a military fair, a college fair, an Academic Rally featuring Soccer Legend Brandi Chastain, a luncheon, and about 80 guest speakers from a variety of professions and backgrounds.

The second AcademiCon on January 27, 2014 expanded on the success of the first year, welcoming more than 100 guest speakers, including chemists, lawyers, small business owners, politicians, an Olympic bobsledder, engineers, and former students.

We are excited for AcademiCon 3: The Return of the Speakers!
