2016-17 Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for Santa Teresa High School
The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is aligned to our areas of focus addressed in our WASC report. Each Spring, the School Site Council and the ST Leadership team evaluate student performance data and assess the school's strengths and weaknesses. The SPSA is designed to drive staff collaboration, which in turn will drive student success. The goals in the 2016-17 SPSA are:
High Quality Instruction and Learning Opportunities: Continue professional development efforts regarding rigor, relevance, coherence, and the balance between providing students access to challenging courses and ensuring that they are prepared to succeed in those courses.
Engage All Stakeholders: Engage all stakeholders through the work in Collaborative Learning Communities (Committees), the SAINT period (Advisory/Tutorial), and regular and varied means of communication.
Safe Learning Environment: Ensure a proactive, safe, and supportive learning environment that is responsive to all of our students’ needs so that all students can succeed.
