Freshman "Four-Year Plan" Presentation (Sept. 26 & 28) 

Freshman/Sophomore "Overview of the High School Experience" Presentation (Oct. 3) 

  • To graduate from high school in four years you must earn a minimum of 220 credits and complete required courses. Every class that you pass successfully, you will earn 5 credits.
  • By the end of your Freshman year, you should have earned 60 credits.
  • You must earn a "C" or better grade to move on to the next level of classes.
  • Colleges/Universities only accept "C" or better grades, which means that if you earn a "D" you will need to re-take (fix) the class for a better grade. 
  • Attend College Fairs.


  • Make sure that you can login to your Naviance account!
  • Explore Naviance.
  • Take the Personality assessment "Do What You Are" to determine what type of career best fits you.
  • Begin to create your Four-Year Plan.
  • Begin to post your extra-curricular activities such as: volunteer hours, clubs, sports, awards, etc... in the Resume Builder.

  • If you are struggling in any of your classes, make sure to work closely with your teachers and ask for help. 
  • Attend the advisory tutorial period.
  • Attend the after school homework center in the Library.
  • Check the tutoring map when teachers are available.
