Intra/Inter District Transfers

Students can apply to transfer to and from Santa Teresa High School with an Intra-District or Inter-District Transfer.  Intra-District transfers are from schools within the East Side Union High School District.  Inter-District transfers are from schools outside of the East Side Union High School District.

TO APPLY AS AN INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSFER TO SANTA TERESA HIGH SCHOOL

The process begins at your home school.  Parents and Guardians are encouraged to speak with an Administrator at their home school and request an application.  Parents and guardians must complete the application and submit the document with valid reason to the Administrator of their home school.  After review, if the administrator of the home school agrees with the request, the application will then be forwarded to our Associate Principal of Administrative Services, Mr. Jesus Marron. 

Only at this time will our APA be able to evaluate your request and make a decision.  At no point prior to this time will any Administrator comment on the possibility of transfer.  If space is available at Santa Teresa High School and if the request is approved, the parent/guardian will be notified and the student must be withdrawn from their home school and meet with our Registrar to complete the enrollment packet.  (Please also see, "What You Need to Register")

The process begins at your home school and home District.  Parents and Guardians are encouraged to speak with an Administrator at their home school and request an application.  Parents and guardians must complete the application and submit the document with valid reason back to the Administrator of the home school.  After review, if the administrator of the home school agrees with the request, the application will then be forwarded to Ms. Rose Ortiz at the East Side Union District Office.  If the application is approved at the District level, our Associate Principal of Administrative Services will be contacted.  Only at this time will he be able to evaluate your request and make a decision.  At no point prior to this time will any Administrator comment on the possibility of transfer.  If space is available at Santa Teresa High School and if the request is approved, the parent/guardian will be notified and the student must be withdrawn from their home school and meet with our Registrar to complete the enrollment packet.  (Please also see, "What You Need to Register")

To request a transfer from Santa Teresa High School to another school in the East Side Union High School District, students and their parents/guardians must make an appointment with Mr. Jesus Marron, our Associate Principal of Administrative Services.  During this meeting, there will be a discussion about the reason for transfer.  If approved, the application will be forwarded to the requested school.  If the requested school approves the transfer request, the student will need to be withdrawn by meeting with our Registrar and then enrolled at their new school.
